Coventry Bears A Team
Coventry Bears Mens ‘A team’ has been relaunched for 2012. The team will form a player pathway from the Bears Junior system plus local Rugby players wishing to develop into the Coventry Bears First team competing in the RLC National division. At the moment the A team is planned to compete in the RLC Midlands premier division which is the highest level played in the Midlands region.
Coventry Bears have a long tradition of working with Rugby union players who want to give Rugby League a try so now is the time for you to get in touch with us and express your interest.
Pre season training which will start early January with both A team and First team players training together. This will include scheduled strength and conditioning sessions in the Coventry RFC Gym and indoor defensive conditioning sessions incorporating ball work and decision making. The aim will be to have two full squads who will share resources and develop as one group.
