Coventry Bears First Team

Coventry Bears Mens First team have been one of the most successful teams to compete in the Rugby League Conference since their inception in 1998. With 7 Midlands Championship titles, and two major National titles, to there name.

The club now plays its First team Rugby in the National Conference League Division 3 and is pioneering to compete in the semi-professional ranks of the Kingstone Press Cider Championship one.

New players are welcome to attend any of our training sessions or contact our coaching team for our Mens First team or indeed our Mens A team reserve side which is a good stepping stone for new players.


First team and A team Mens training is on THURSDAY NIGHTS at 7.15pm at the Xcel Leisure Centre, CV4 8DY. Just come along and make yourself known to the players and coaches on arrival.

Membership is £150 Full season which covers training, playing costs, insurance and medical treatment.

If you join from April/May this amount is £100. Membership can be sponsored in return for advertising with the club.
